Marian Lied was a girl from Azalea Town who went to cooking school in Striaton City until one day, when coming home for vacation, she ran afoul of a swarm of Beedrill, ran away, tripped, and died from a fall down Slowpoke Well.

She likes fairy tales and legends, but is only really interested in their stories, not in any academic sense. She isn't a fan of ghost stories, and she's terrified of bugs. Her favorite thing in the whole world is cooking.

Also she's a Yamask now, technically, but for the purposes of the fourth wall, that hardly matters, does it?
